Lake Erie is one of the five Great Lakes present in Northern America. It is the fourth largest of the five and has the smallest volume out of five Great Lakes.  Erie is bounded by Ontario, Canada on one side and is surrounded by four other US states on the other sides. One of these states is Ohio and the city lying beside Lake Erie is Cleveland.

The parks offer a spectacular view of the lake and are the hub of several activities. If enjoying Lake Erie from the shore is not enough for you, rent a boat and go diving. Lake Erie is a divers’ favorite since it is rumored to have several shipwrecks nestled in its depths. According to recent estimates, there are about 8000 remains of ships lying at the bottom of Lake Erie. This figure puts Lake Erie at the top of all freshwater locations having shipwrecks. Lake Erie, being warmer than the other lakes in the region, is ideal for diving.  The best diving season lasts from April to October. Diving in Lake Erie is an exciting experience and shouldn’t be given a miss if you are looking for adventure.
